FAQ
How long do I have to wait for a double glazed unit?
We can supply a replacement glazed unit usually the same day. For Toughened/Argon Gas filled, you are looking at 48 hours. Leaded or Georgian Bar, please phone for lead times.
Can I repair/reseal my existing sealed units?
No, the double glazed unit has to be replaced in its entirety if you are to secure any formal guarantee. There is no method available to successfully reseal a damaged glazed unit. However, the cost of replacing your double glazed unit is most likely far less than you think, and with Bartley Glass and Windows, you have the added 5-year guarantee on the new sealed unit.
Can you cut, drill or cut holes in a piece of toughened glass?
Unfortunately not, once the glass has been through the toughening process it can’t be altered in size or shape. Of course, we can cut, drill or shape a piece of glass for you before we then process it to be toughened.
Do you sell accessories for fitting your own glass/units i.e. Putty, Silicone, Tape etc.?
Yes, we stock a wide range of materials, all available from our trade counter.

Yes, Bartley Glass and Windows offer offer free local delivery to your home or business premises. We ensure your new piece of glass or glazed unit arrives safely, and within a time slot to suit you.
What is your Covid-19 operation policy?
Bartley Glass and windows are still fully operational during these difficult times.
