Through the Window – A Catch Up

I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of our customers both old and new for their continued support and business. Because of you, we have had a busier and more diverse year than ever. I thought summer was a mad time for us due to glazing work in schools and things would calm down after September, but no, we literally haven’t stopped or slowed down all year. So thank you again, you custom really is appreciated at Bartley Glass.

I say we have been busy and I know you are saying “really, go on then show us what you have done” and you’re right the proof is in the pudding.

We have had a multitude of different jobs on over the last few months, from fitting some of my new favourite sliding sash windows (they really are lovely you know, and if you live in a period property they are definitely worth the small cost increase- more on these another time I think) to completely remodeling an old doorway into a beautiful bay window. We, of course, have built many conservatories all across the Birmingham area and improved the look of the fronts of houses across the land (well you know, across the West Midlands at least!) by adding porches and replacing old tired doors with wonderful new composite ones. This is in addition to all of the completely necessary but mostly un-glamorous day to day work of replacing old broken sealed glass units and broken glazing.

We have had our fitters out happily snapping away so that I can share with you a few of our more glamorous jobs, I’ve put together a little gallery below, otherwise I would never get any actual window fitting done if I stayed in this nice warm office typing all day…

So there you have it a little round up of what we have been up to and an idea for the different and trans-formative glazing work we can do (not to mention a fair bit of building work in there too – our fitters really are a talented bunch.)
